Login banner

The login banner displays a message on the login page, below the form. It typically carries a security or privacy notice about personal data processing.

Configuring

Administration → Login banner. The Login page banner panel holds a single field, Banner text.

  • Type the text, then click Save.
  • Cancel discards unsaved changes.
  • Both buttons stay disabled until something changes.

Leaving the field empty hides the banner: no box appears on the login page.

Formatting

The field takes plain text. HTML and Markdown are not interpreted and would be displayed as typed.

Line breaks are preserved, so a message can be laid out over several lines.

Scope

The banner is global: it does not depend on the tenant and is shown to everyone.

It is visible without authentication

The text is served by a public endpoint, queried before any sign-in. Anyone reaching the login page sees it, including an unauthenticated visitor. Do not put internal information there.

Example

By logging in, you acknowledge that your account identifier and email address are processed
by Avalon solely for authentication and access management purposes.
No other personal data is collected.
